We hope you can join us for an evening of networking and fun as we honor Roberta Eichler, a lifelong advocate and leader in the non-profit sector and Donna Spellman, Executive Director of River House Adult Day Program in Cos Cob. Event includes plentiful hors d'oeuvres, open bar (beer, wine) and silent auction. All proceeds go towards providing an array of recreational, nutritional, fitness, educational and social service programs to promote healthy aging, reduce social isolation and enhance the quality of life of older adults. Fitness classes like Tai Chi and Stronger Bones help seniors remain physically fit and reduce risk of falls and disabilities. English as a Second Language classes help our immigrant senior population assimilate and gain confidence and independence. Technology classes empower our older adults to stay connected with family and friends. Enjoying a nutritious meal in the community cafe allows seniors to be in the company of friends and reduce isolation.
